I am not an aspiring entomologist it’s just that bugs keep getting in front of my camera. I’m not a real photographer either but it does help quiet my mind when I take a break from writing. I saw this Cicada clinging to a Crepe Myrtle on my last walk at dusk and just had to share it. Now I’m going to get busy writing and leave the bugs alone but I reserve the right to renege on the latter.

Okay, that was corny. But look at this beautiful specimen, a Swallowtail I think. It was kind enough to pose for 101 photographs.
What happens when you don’t specify what kind of goat you want and just say, ‘bring me a couple of goats to clean up the place.’ You get two ‘No ma’am they’re not pygmies’. Well, pardon me but that is a ONE pound Chihuahua trying to herd them. It may take them a few years to clear the land but they are adorable : )
