Reaping What Others Have Sown.

October 1st, the harvest moon

The year is 2020

I am reaping things I did not sow…
The beautiful sunrise…
the soft breeze…

the birds and deer and…

the mandate to wear a Petri dish on my face that makes me sicker than the virus itself.

I sat down to write a haiku, but the coup got in the way.
