… Mad as in I am mad about these adorable kittens. They were born yesterday and I spent most of the day cooing over them. I know, I’ve got a problem.
See why I didn’t have time to read the poems submitted? I know you will forgive me when you see all of this furry cuteness, all five of them.
Hey, maybe one of them will inspire a bit of poetry? It could happen.
I mean really. Just look at these kitty cats. And Maddie is being a great mama – once she got over the surprise.

Well, I am back from the New England territories. I would love to tell you I have locked myself in my study and am relentlessly pounding out intriguing tales but…
Just look at these kittens! Who can think straight [much less dark and mysterious] when surrounded by all this adorable fuzzy cuteness.
So, in the meanwhile… look at these darn kittens!
If you have read Cloud Wrangler (Book 4 in the Clan Destiny series) Frieda may come to mind — if not I won’t spoil the ending for you. 😉

The husband went fishing for three weeks and came home with a kitten. True story. He would like for me to believe it is a rare saltwater catfish. Ha! Everyone knows catfish do not have fur…. or four legs and sharp claws; it was another wild fish tale.
So I guess we are the new servants of a feisty little feline who calls herself Pretty Kitty Puddin’ Jam.
I am a bit perturbed with her and the husband because the darn thing makes me love her already.
